This Wasn't Our Idea
We just thought someone should run one closer to home.
Founded 2011. Still transmitting. The Darkpsy containment programme that was running full facilities across three continents while we were still filing the paperwork for one.
Wretched Rhythms did not invent the idea of containing dark psytrance, hitech and psycore under one roof and calling it a label. Horrordelic Records got there first — 2011, headquartered in Norway, and they never really stopped. Fourteen-plus years of documented output, a roster running through Germany, Brazil, Mexico, India, Greece, Sweden, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Belgium, the UK, Lebanon, Japan and our own South Africa, and a release cadence that makes our catalogue look like we're still finding our feet.
We are. That's fine. That's what precedent is for.
This page exists for the same reason a junior facility keeps a photograph of a senior one on the wall — not sentiment, reference material. If you want to know what this containment model looks like after a decade and a half under pressure, the file is public. Go read it.

One Specimen, Two Facilities
SPC-002 is not exclusively ours. We checked.
Dr Tryptamine — SPC-002 in our own registry, Witbank-via-Johannesburg, former resident at The Doors Nightclub, current problem — is filed under both containment programmes. Horrordelic processed the transfer first. By his own account, we are the second facility, not the first. We've made our peace with the paperwork.
